Skin care that sinks in, works hard, and comes from an actual farm in Vermont.
25+ years of formulation. Organic ingredients with a purpose. Zero fillers, zero mystery ingredients — just the good stuff your skin has been waiting for.
Face Cream with Bakuchiol
Bakuchiol is a natural retinol derived from the Babchi plant in India — gentle enough to use morning and evening, effective enough to actually make a difference. Over time it helps smooth skin, reduce fine lines, and calm redness and dark spots.
This cream is also infused with organic blueberry leaves harvested right here at the farm every September, when they turn gorgeous shades of red, orange, and purple. Those leaves contain more antioxidants than the blueberries themselves. We infuse them into organic sesame oil and organic vegetable glycerin, and the result is something we're really proud of.

"This face cream is absolutely amazing!
I have used bakuchiol lotions in the past, but this is by far superior. The lotion absorbs quickly and leaves your skin soft, smooth, and supple. Highly recommend."
— Renee F.
Facial Serum with Bakuchiol
Same plant-powered bakuchiol, lighter texture. One pump is genuinely all you need.
If you've been curious about retinol but put off by irritation or complicated morning/evening routines — this is the easy answer. All the benefit, none of the fuss.
"My face feels so soft, fresh, and cared for after applying this serum. Thank you, Wendy, for all your great products. They never disappoint!"
— Joan F.
Hand & Cuticle Support
Your hands deserve something really good.
Massage it into your cuticles, work it into your hands, and let it do its thing. Formulated with organic peony and rose petals grown right here on the farm. Absorbs beautifully — no greasy residue, just soft, cared-for hands.
(Beauty Shortlist Award Winner: Best Intensive Hand Balm 2026)
"Smells good and absorbs very well. At first, I was leery of the oily feel, but it absorbs. I’m an avid knitter and need soft cuticles so I don't snag my yarn. Have tried other products, but this works the best!”
— Claudia C.
More from the farm
Got dry skin? Irritated skin? Skin that's just having a moment? Wendy's got a salve for that. Three of them, actually.
"This is the first salve I've tried that actually softens and soothes winter-dry hands. Wendy's products work! Plus, how wonderful to support a hand-crafted natural-product business in Vermont with excellent customer service."
— Madeline K.

A little about where our skin care comes from
Meadow Bee Skin Care is made by Wendy Mackenzie at Everlasting Herb Farm in Peacham, Vermont — a working farm and ecological haven where native plants grow wild, milkweed is sacred, and pollinators are like pets.
Wendy has been handcrafting plant-based body care since 2003. Meadow Bee deodorant itself was born in 2020, inspired by a neighbor who'd had a stroke and could no longer use a traditional plastic deodorant applicator. She asked Wendy if she could make her something she could apply with her hands. Two years and many batches later, she had it.
2% of every Meadow Bee purchase goes directly to the Vermont Center for Ecostudies to support bee research, monitoring, and conservation.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes — and we know that's exactly what every natural deodorant brand claims. The difference is that thousands of customers, including athletes, hikers, gardeners, travelers, and people who've tried and failed with a dozen other natural options, keep coming back and saying the same thing: this one actually works. We'd love for you to try it and tell us what you think.
-
Baking soda is common in natural deodorants because it's effective at neutralizing odor. The problem is it's also highly alkaline, which irritates the skin of many people — causing rashes, redness, and discomfort. Meadow Bee uses zinc ricinoleate and zinc oxide instead, which neutralize odor without disrupting your skin's natural pH.
-
Yes. Meadow Bee was specifically formulated without the ingredients most commonly responsible for skin irritation — no baking soda, no aluminum, no synthetic fragrances, no parabens. Many of our most loyal customers came to us after years of reactions to other deodorants, including other natural ones.
-
Absolutely. Meadow Bee Deodorant works beautifully on feet, skin folds, and under the breasts. Many customers use it proactively under each breast daily to prevent bra chafe and under-boob sweat — with great results.
-
Yes to both.

-
No. Meadow Bee will not leave white marks, streaks, or stains on your clothing — including dark fabrics. This is one of the most common things customers mention in reviews.
-
The solid bar lasts 4+ months with daily use. The balm lasts 5+ months with daily use. Both have a 2-year shelf life, so it's worth stocking up.
-
Swipe the rounded edge directly onto completely dry skin — 5 to 7 times per underarm. Massage any residue into your skin with your fingers. That's it.
-
Rub one fingertip on the surface of the balm to melt a small amount onto your finger. Massage into dry skin for 5 to 7 seconds until fully absorbed. Rub any extra into your hands.
-
Cosmetic label requirements changed in 2022. We now use the word "perfume" on our ingredient lists to comply with FDA regulations through the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA). Every Meadow Bee product is scented exclusively with plant-based essential oils — always. Never synthetic fragrance.
