Deodorant Balm
$24.95

Our award-winning balm deodorant is aluminum & baking soda-free. It REALLY, TRULY WORKS!! (I used to be a natural deodorant doubter too, but Meadow Bee Deodorant REALLY works.) Made from just 8 plant-based ingredients plus zinc oxide, Meadow Bee Deodorant doesn’t irritate sensitive skin, stain clothing, or leave white marks on the outside of your shirts. Each balm lasts 4-6 months with daily use and has a 2-year shelf life. Each of our 6 scents is named after a solitary bee found in Vermont.

Meadow Bee Deodorant is scented with plant-based essential oils. (Conforming to new 2024 FDA regulations, we have to state “perfume” and include all sensitizers that naturally occur in each essential oil in the ingredient panel on the label. We can no longer list “essential oil” legally on our labels.)

If you experience bra chafe, or “under boob sweat”, Meadow Bee Deodorant is great for soothing your skin and even preventing it in the first place if you use it proactively under each breast daily. You can use Meadow Bee on feet too.

Here's what makes Meadow Bee different

“I tried more than twelve brands — anything that seemed healthy, I bought them all. None worked. NONE.

By chance, I found Meadow Bee, and I am delighted. I can transition from a sweaty workout to a business gathering immediately. I almost never write product-praising posts, but this one warranted it."

Which form is right for you?

Both the solid bar and the balm use the exact same award-winning formula. The only difference is how you like to apply it.

Solid Deodorant Bar — $15.95 Lasts 4+ months with daily use. Swipe directly onto clean, dry skin.

Best for: people who want a quick, familiar application and love the idea of zero plastic.

Deodorant Balm — $24.95 Lasts 5+ months with daily use. Scoop a small amount and massage in like a moisturizer. A little mini massage in the morning — not a bad way to start the day.

A little about where this deodorant comes from

Meadow Bee Deodorant is made by Wendy Mackenzie at Everlasting Herb Farm in Peacham, Vermont — a working farm and ecological haven where native plants grow wild, milkweed is sacred, and pollinators are like pets.

Wendy has been handcrafting plant-based body care since 2003. Meadow Bee deodorant itself was born in 2020, inspired by a neighbor who'd had a stroke and could no longer use a traditional plastic deodorant applicator. She asked Wendy if she could make her something she could apply with her hands. Two years and many batches later, she had it.

2% of every Meadow Bee purchase goes directly to the Vermont Center for Ecostudies to support bee research, monitoring, and conservation.
